Happy Birthday US of A!

IMG_4673

This year I have a chance to see July 4th fireworks up close at Lake Union. The presentation before the fireworks was spectacular. It started with a Chinook helicopter carrying the flag and circling around the lake. I've never seen a Chinook flying that close before.

Truly awesome shot, Tom! I tried my hand at some firework photography this weekend too, but you've definitely got surpassing skills my friend :-)

Thanks Shaun. Shooting fireworks is not that hard. You need a tripod and the right exposure time.

Also camera and lens makes a difference. If you want to take your photography skills to the next level, I suggest you buy a DSLR and a couple of good lens. Since I'm a Canon user, I'd recommend D40 or 5D :).

In Cambodia people are also enjoying with music, dancing and fireworks, after the Preah Vihear Temple, located near the Thai border, has been listed as a World Heritage.

I'm very happy to hear that. My cheers from here in joining of the celebration.
